A Cause for Celebration: Spurwing’s Achievements in 2019

2019 has already been a very rewarding year at Spurwing, and one of the aspects that has made the year so special for us is the awards that we have received, both for our agency, and for the various campaigns we have executed and supported. We are thrilled that our performance has been recognised, and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank the team, our clients and partners for their continued support and trust in us!

Just last month, we were thrilled to learn that our agency’s unique culture and performance was recognised by independent reviewers at The Holmes Report. We were awarded “Best Small Agency to Work for in Asia Pacific” at the SABRE Awards - we may be "small" but, as a team member said in the anonymous survey, we are proud to be "daring, different and people-first." At the SABRE Awards, our work with Golden Agri-Resources (GAR), the Human Performance Institute and GlaxoSmithKline was also recognised.

Earlier this year, two of our stellar campaigns were rewarded at the Marketing PR Awards. We proudly took home the awards for “Best Media Relations” for the relaunch of Corteva Agriscience in APAC (#growinginprogress), and “Best Launch/Relaunch” for the rebrand of Cerecin. We are proud to have worked on these campaigns and to have been a trusted partner in launching Cerecin across Asia Pacific, and for creating widespread conversation around Corteva’s work in the region.

At the PRCA Awards, our exponential growth and holistic culture clinched us the “Small Consultancy of the Year” award.

Besides the awards we won, we were also amongst a competitive shortlist for the Campaign PR Awards: the “PR Agency Head of the Year” for our Managing Partner, Emma Thompson, and the “Southeast Asia PR Consultancy of the Year.”

We’re not stopping there! We’re looking forward to finding out if we will add another trophy to our shelves from the Mumbrella Asia Awards where we are shortlisted for “Specialist Agency of the Year”.

We’re hopeful that our progress this year is just a taste of what’s to come for Spurwing. In less than five years, our team has given a tremendous amount of energy and passion to bringing out the best in each other and forging long-lasting relationships with our clients and partners.
